Three Ways to Wear a Printed Square Satin Scarf
At your neck, in your hair or on your bag: three simple ways to wear a printed square satin scarf, plus fabric and care details.

Three easy places to start: tie a printed square satin scarf loosely at your neck, fold it into a hair band, or knot it around a bag handle. One small print, three different moods.
A scarf is a good place to play. You can try a new colour without building a whole outfit around it, then move the same little square from your neck to your bag tomorrow.
Klecksy's printed satin scarves use lightweight satin poly woven fabric with a soft drape and neatly finished edges. They are polyester satin, rather than silk. The floral, botanical and abstract artwork brings the same pattern-studio spirit as our clothing.
1. A loose neck tie
- Lay the square flat and fold it diagonally into a triangle.
- Starting at the pointed end, fold it towards the long edge until you have a band in the width you like.
- Place the band around your neck and make a loose knot at the front or a little to one side.
Keep it comfortable rather than tight. This works nicely with a plain tee or a simple neckline because the scarf becomes a small focal point. Let the ends sit naturally; a perfectly symmetrical bow is optional.
2. A folded hair band
- Fold the scarf into a band as above.
- Place the middle of the band where you want the print to show.
- Tie the ends gently, adjusting their position and the band's width to suit your hairstyle.
A small knot can sit above or below your hair, depending on the look and the scarf's reach. If satin slips in your hair, use your usual hair accessories to help secure the style, or choose a printed headband instead. Start with a comfortable fit and check it before heading out.
3. A knot on your bag
Fold the square into a triangle or a narrow band, loop it around a handle, and tie the ends. Leave part of the fabric hanging so the print can be seen. Keep the knot clear of the bag's opening, straps and hardware.
This is an easy way to bring a dress colour into an everyday bag. The Velvet Botanica scarf pairs lilac and peach flowers with green leaves on a deep burgundy ground. Try it against a plain bag to make the contrast visible.
Square scarf or long stole?
A square scarf is useful for folds and small knots. If you want a longer shape to drape over your shoulders or loop around your neck, look at satin stoles. Choose by the way you want to wear it, and check the individual product details before ordering.
A gentle wash, please
Hand wash Klecksy satin scarves gently in cold water with mild detergent. Do not bleach or wring. Air dry away from direct heat. Follow the instructions provided with the scarf.
