Bloom Riot A-line dress — hero view

The shape in a sentence: an A-line dress opens out from a more fitted bodice into a flared skirt. Start with the silhouette you enjoy, then choose the flowers, colours or abstract marks that feel like you.

Florals can be tiny and quiet, big and painterly, or somewhere happily in between. Choosing a floral A-line dress is about more than finding a favourite flower. The fit, pattern scale and colours all change how the finished outfit feels.

Start with the silhouette

Klecksy's A-line dresses have a fitted bodice, flared skirt, round neckline and short sleeves. They use 220 GSM poly-spandex stretch fabric, with the artwork printed across the front, back and sleeves.

If you are comparing shapes, our bodycon dresses fit more closely to the body and have a sleeveless silhouette. Neither shape is a requirement for a particular body type. Choose the fit and coverage you prefer wearing.

Before ordering, use the size guide. Compare measurements according to the guide's instructions rather than choosing by the size letter you wear elsewhere. Stretch fabric still needs a fit you can move in comfortably.

Look at scale as well as colour

Large flowers read as bold shapes from a distance; smaller scattered details create a different rhythm. The Bloom Riot A-line dress, for example, has oversized lilac and peach blooms, green foliage and broad painted marks.

The Garden Gone Wild collection also includes vines, leaves, small marks and abstract designs. If a classic floral is not your thing, explore those neighbouring patterns. A favourite colour can be a better starting point than a familiar motif.

Three ways to build the outfit

  • Keep it easy: add plain sandals and a simple bag. Let the dress supply the colour.
  • Pick up a shade: choose shoes or a bag in one colour from the print. You do not need to repeat every colour.
  • Add a small print detail: tie a printed satin scarf to your bag, or choose a hair accessory. If the dress has a large motif, a smaller accessory pattern offers a different scale.

Try the full outfit on and move around in it. Sit down, lift your arms and walk a little. Those ordinary movements often tell you more about the outfit than a still mirror check.

Care and timing before checkout

For Klecksy A-line dresses, machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colours. Do not bleach. Line dry, and use a low iron if needed. Follow the garment's care instructions.

These dresses are made to order, with free delivery across India. For an occasion, check the dispatch and delivery estimates before buying and leave room for your plans.
